Meet Dr. Patti Dowling, DMD

Dr. Patti Dowling had an interest in science from a very young age. Her parents worked in the space program at NASA, with her father being involved in many advances in manned-space flight. Dr. Patti graduated from The University of Florida, where she earned her B.S. in Health Science. She continued her postgraduate studies at The University of Florida College of Dentistry, where she earned her DMD. While at the University of Florida, Dr. Dowling completed and published research in endodontic treatments to advance the clinical success of therapy. She was awarded multiple clinical achievement awards and graduated in the top five of her class. Dr. Dowling earned her post-doctoral certificate in endodontics at The University of Nebraska College of Dentistry.

Following her specialty training, Dr. Dowling moved to Orlando with her husband, Dr. Alan Dowling. She was a founding partner in Dowling and Dowling, P.A., a dental specialty group that served all of central Florida. The practice recently changed their name to Pinnacle Endodontics, Periodontics, and Implants to reflect the growth and commitment to their patients and fellow dental caregivers.

Dr. Dowling has been a member of various dental and medical organizations over the years including The American Dental Association, Florida Dental Association, Central District Dental Association, Greater Orlando Dental Society, American Association of Endodontists, Florida Association of Endodontists and St. Lukes Medical Clinic. She volunteers in many organizations and missions providing free care to individuals in North and South America. She also has served as President of the Florida Association of Endodontists.
