Dr. King is a native Floridian who was born and raised in Orlando. She comes from a famlly of dentists and enjoys taking care of the periodontal needs of our community. Dr. King graduated from Winter Park High school then attended Florida State University where she was accepted into the Honors College due to her history of academic excellence. She completed her bachelors of science degree with honors and a 3.97 GPA earning summa cum laude honors.
Dr. King completed her postgraduate education at The University of Florida College of Dentistry where she earned her Doctorate of Dental Medicine. She graduated #6 in her class at the University of Florida earning numerous clinical honors. Dr. King then completed her postdoctoral surgical training at the University of Florida where she earned a Master of Science in Dental Sciences and her Certificate in Periodontics. During this phase of her career, Dr. King also served as a chief resident and was a member of the UF admissions committee.
Our patients and referring doctors are thrilled to have the clinical skills and expertise Dr. King brings to the office. Dr. King is passionate about improving the oral health of our patients. She has a special interest in bone regeneration for implant therapy and has published research on novel techniques for guided bone regeneration. She also has a love for esthetic dental surgery improving the smiles of our patients in a gentle, caring approach. Dr. King works closely with Dr. Dowling and our outstanding team of specialists and support staff in providing our patients and referring offices the latest in dental therapy.
When not taking care of our patients, Dr. King enjoys spending time with her family. She is an accomplished tennis player and also loves all the water sports that central Florida has to offer.
